Michito Sanchez

World renowned Percussionist Michito Sanchez has preformed on multiple Grammy Award winning and Nominated recordings and has toured the World throughout his extensive career as a “Freelance” Multi-Percussionist in Los Angeles. Working with some of the biggest names in the Music Industry in Live, Studio and Film situations including The Rolling Stones, Daughtry, Marcus Miller, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Caetano Veloso, Michael Bublé, Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Miguel, Eric Benét, Apocalyptica, Train, Rickey Minor, Rafa Sardina, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Alan Silvestri and Don Henley. 

In 2006 Michito moved to Las Vegas where he tried his hand as a band leader. Michito would prove that he had what it takes and launched the Michito Sanchez Salsa Orchestra in 2007. The band quickly became a hit selling out venues on the Las Vegas strip and took the inaugural title at the 1st annual Las Vegas Music Awards as “Best Salsa Band” In 2007. 

Now living in Europe, Michito is extending his talents and creative mind to form a very special project that he’s wanted for a while the Michito Sanchez Quintet. The Fusion/Latin Jazz band is a culmination of Michito’s career picking songs from inspiring Jazz Artists that he has had the honour of collaborating with over the years like Joe Zawinul, Tito Puente, Willie Bobo, Arturo Sandoval, David Garfield, Joe Sample, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Poncho Sanchez, Dave Valentin and others…The band’s musical compositions span the musical globe.
