Prague Proms 2026

What this year's Prague Proms 2026 has to offer

Dear listeners, we are delighted to present another edition of the Prague Proms International Music Festival. The year 2026 will once again bring a diverse range of musical experiences – world-class performers will arrive in Prague and prominent figures from the Czech music scene will take to the stage. You can look forward to unforgettable film music, first-class jazz, and attractive crossover projects.

The festival will kick off in mid-June with a theatrical performance of Herečka (The Actress). Ilona Svobodová and Ondřej Volejník will perform in this romantic comedy set behind the scenes of the theater at The Loop Jazz Club. This will be followed by an extraordinary concert, Vladimir Cosma in Concert, where the original conductor Vladimir Cosma will lead the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in performing his film music. The festival will also offer a concert by the Prague Chamber Soloists, in which this established ensemble will perform well-known chamber works at the Church of St. Simon and Jude. This will be followed by our classic show Hollywood Night where Iconic film melodies will be conducted by composer Chris Egan at the Municipal House. He will also be a part of the musical program Count Basie's Album, and we will also welcome the AMC Trio with their own original compositions.

The second half of the festival will be opened by the world-famous Czech boys' choir BONI PUERI and their Journey Around the World in 80 Minutes. This will be followed by an energetic concert entitled Focused on Motown, in which The Loop Jazz Orchestra & Vít Pospíšil, together with singers Candace Potts, LaVonte Heard, and William Ramsey, will revisit songs that transcended racial barriers and captivated listeners around the world. The program will be complemented by the Ruchadze Band – Amsterdam Beyond and the excellent musical duo of Martina Barta feat. David Friedman. This year will once again feature Jazz Drink, a spectacle which combines jazz and delicious cocktails into one unforgettable evening, this time running for two nights. The James Bond Night concert will be the grand finale of the entire festival. Music from the legendary Bond films will be performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Chris Egan.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you again this year!
